Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: your email, username, display name, avatar, bio, denomination and the goals you pick during onboarding.
• Content you create: posts, reels, comments, prayers, reflections, Bible notes, highlights and bookmarks, stories, direct messages, and live streams with their chat.
• Usage and device info: push notification tokens, your timezone, notification settings, and ad impressions and taps (so we can count results for sponsors and cap how often ads appear).
• Location: only when you use Find Local to look for churches and Bible studies near you. We don't track your location in the background.
• Payment records: purchases are processed by Stripe. We store the fact that you paid, what you bought and your subscription status — we never see or store your full card number.

Who we share with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the app:

• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — hosting, database, authentication and file storage.
• Stripe — processing Manna purchases and Walk+ subscriptions.
• Google AdMob and Google AdSense — ads in the app and on the website (see the Ads section below).
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications to your devices.
• LiveKit — live video and audio for streams.
• Giphy — GIF search in messages and comments.
• Lovable AI (using Google's Gemini models) — answers to your questions about the daily verse. Only the verse and your question are sent.

Who can see what

• Your public profile fields (username, display name, avatar, bio, denomination, tree and streak) are visible to other signed-in users.
• Reflections you share are visible only to people you follow and people who follow you.
• Private prayers and private reflections are visible only to you.
• Direct messages are visible only to the people in the conversation.
• Admins can review content that has been reported, to enforce the Community Guidelines.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your reflections or prayers with anyone you didn't choose, and ads are never targeted using your prayers, reflections, messages or Bible notes.

Ads

Free accounts may see sponsored content, always labeled "Sponsored": cards in Feed and Daily, between stories, a short ad before some Lives and Circles, and an optional ad to finish a tree revive.

Some ads come directly from sponsors we approve. Others come from Google's ad partners: Google AdMob in the iPhone app and Google AdSense on the website. These partners may use device identifiers, cookies, your IP address and ad interactions to show, measure and limit how often you see ads. We ask for family-safe (G-rated) ads only. We record when you view or tap an ad so we can count results for sponsors and cap how often ads appear.

Your choice on iPhone: the app asks permission (App Tracking Transparency) before any personalized ads. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you'll only get non-personalized ads. You can change this anytime in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On the web, you can manage Google's ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your account, profile, content and uploaded files, and cancels any active Walk+ subscription. Payment records that Stripe must keep for legal reasons stay with Stripe.

Children

Walk With Him is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we will delete any account we learn belongs to one.
